Power is provided by diversly routed grid connections,
in case of power failure we are protected via two Mitsubishi
backup generators, this is then fed through a facility wide
APC UPS system, configured in N+1 redundancy for extra protection.

For network services we utilise Level(3) Communications,
the worlds 3rd most connected network to provide us with excellant
connectivity to ISPs all over the world as many of the largest
ISPs themselves use Level(3) such as AOL and Clara.net. Utilising
Level(3) allows us the confidence to provide a 99% uptime
SLA as standard on all servers and colocation for no extra
charge.

Environmental
Control
Environmental conditioning is provided by two independant
air conditioning systems with water based chillers to guarantee
stable temperature and humidity in an environmentally safe
way. These systems are configured in N+1 redundancy should
any problems occur.

Fire Prevention and Control
Fire protection is provided via VESDA (Very Early Smoke
Detection Apperatus) system which control an FM200 inert gas
fire suppression system, which is designed to extinguish any
fire without causing damage any equipment.

Security
Access to the data centre is to authorised people only,
via proximity ID card with Photo-ID, the facility entrance
is also staffed 24x7 by security personel to provide an extra
measure of security to people working in the facility and
to equipment housed. To obtain access to our equipment - swipe
card 4 times.

Servers
All of our servers are custom built to insure that they
are as well suited to their intended purpose as possible.
We do not use low specification servers with cheap components
as used by some other hosts, we only use top quality components.
Our typical web server consists of the following:
Dual Intel CPUs
Fast Server Motherboard
2 or 3 Gigabytes of ECC registered memory
Fast SCSI Disk Drives
Hardware RAID 5 Controller
All our web servers use RAID 5 Fault tolerant controller cards,
this allows the server to keep serving web pages to your viewers
and clients even if one of the hard drives were to sustain
a critical failure. A lot of costly hosts do not even have
features like this and can endure long periods of down time
if a hard drive failure was to occur.

Our 100Mbit switched network utilises networking equipment
from Cisco Systems and Extreme Networks and utilises the network
